Regarding my Dimentia

I worry that people don’t seem to be whistling anymore — don’t you?
People aren’t humming either
What does it mean?
I remember times riding the upper deck on the bus when the whole world
hummed and whistled — a cacophony it was.
I miss it. Don’t you?
Now people tap their fingers and curl their toes — what good is that?
The only music you hear on the bus comes from nostrils (and the odd
wandering minstrel in tights, funny hat and curly-toed slippers)
I’m humming Abba as I write and if I could whistle at the same time I
might give Elgar’s Variations a go!
