I want you to have a chance to contact my abs!
I was drinking soju on the street corner of a popular club district in Seoul with my friend. Two young guys proceeded to sit down with us. They proceeded to attempt some get-to-know-you banter. My guy began with, “Do you want to have a chance to contact my (strong) abs?”
Due to excessive soju consumption it appeared I disseminated my phone number to this lad. His following texts over the next week (and yes, they are completely true to form, caps lock and all):
text 1: IM WATCHING TV & AM EXERCISING TO SHOW YOU MY STRONG ABS
text 2: I THINK ITS TIME TO SEE YOU AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
text 3: MISS YOU SO MUCH
text 4: LONG TIME HAVE BEEN SEPARATED EACH OTHER??
text 5: I WANT TO SEE YOU TONIGHT AT?
text 6: I NEED YOUR HEART
text 7: I WANT TO MAKE YOU OUT. I CAN DO IT WELL
text 8: GIVE ME A CHANCE TO SHOW MY ABS. I REALLY HAVE A DEEP EMOTION.
Upon my lack of response following text 8, he gave up. Guess I’ll never get that chance to contact his abs. That is, unless I scroll down to <<Abs guy>> in my phone.
