Start-up Hiring **Paid** Full-Time Writers

Hello. We are a new online start-up looking for a FULL-TIME senior writer/editor/blogger/PR pro/HR person/social media guru/accountant to join our large and growing team. We are just getting off the ground and you will be our first hire, so you will have many duties, but you will be mainly engaged in content writing on a freelance basis and the occasional building of an entire business.

You should be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (newest/best version), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.), all of the Corels, QuickBooks, and be familiar with back-end web programming as well, including JavaScript. Some experience with WordPress and Myspace is also an asset. You should have excellent people skills, as you will be responsible for coordinating between different teams and organizing around various important projects, etc. Because you will be working from home you should also have a reliable Internet connection and printer to print out your work and mail it to our office upon completion.

As we mentioned above, we are a new start-up blog/magazine/media PR company and we are looking for a very specific kind of person to fill this position. Young, energetic, creative types under thirty are mainly what we are looking for. Applicants should have a degree in professional writing, industrial design, literature, graphic design, communications and/or technology/Internet, etc., as well as a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in “the industry.” Seasoned pros over 40 a BIG plus.
