While You Were On Break

The oranges sprouted wings and bounced across your cash,
Giving shouts of glee and squirting citrus everywhere.
A regiment of chocolate-covered raisins escaped from their box,
Leapt to the linoleum floor in formation and were promptly squashed and defeated.
A python, bright green, dropped from the ceiling tiles and swallowed a roll of quarters,
While letters on your keyboard mingled and fornicated.
The yo-yos took the chance to unwind, readily dishing gossip between drags,
And that rhinoceros tried to return his socks again, like I’ve been telling you about.
